Title - "The Calverton Project" Video - Education Category Virginia Huie - Reporter Andrew Ryan - Photographer/Editor Air Date - 05/30/2018 TRT - 1:59 Armed with buckets of water, soap and brushes -- 140 Comsewogue High School students washed the tombstones of our nation's war heroes at Calverton National Cemetery. They called it "The Calverton Project." The students took on this mission to fulfill a "Day of Service" assignment. Giving back to the fallen in this way taught the students about the value of volunteerism and respect for veterans.
