Any Girl Can! Service and Leadership Academy is a collaboration between CAEC and several community organizations. Our primary sponsor for the 18-19 school year is The National Coalition of 100 Black Women (NC100BW), which is a non-profit volunteer organization for American women. Its members address common issues in their communities, families and personal lives, promoting gender and racial equity. The mission of the Central Ohio Chapter is to advocate on behalf of black women and girls to promote leadership development and gender equity in the areas of health, education and economic empowerment. They believe in gender equity, inclusion, respect, racial and social justice, integrity and accountability, economic empowerment and collaboration. Any Girl Can! is a service and leadership initiative designed for high school freshman girls with a desire to achieve long-term goals and excel, academically and socially. Surrounded in a positive setting with mentorship opportunities; the mission is to equip each young woman with the necessary skills and dispositions to recognize their self-worth, foster leadership opportunities, financial education and become informed, civically engaged advocates in their communities. Ultimately we want every young lady to earn a minimum of 5 credits, 30 internship hours, and successfully matriculate to the 10th grade.
